Q: How to include your language as one of the language selections in the product?
A: Please download the following document (Phonora_Translate.xls) and translate the document in your language and then e-mail the document to us. We will include your language in the next upgrade.

Q: How to translate photo gallery text to another language?
A: Phonora Photo Gallery have language support for few languages. However, it is very easy to translate the gallery to another language. All you have to do is edit one file.
  • Edit photogallery/langauge/custom.php file and translate it to desired language.
  • If your language includes special characters, you must save custom.php file in UTF-8 encoding and uncheck BOM (Byte Order Mark) while saving your file. Failure to uncheck BOM will result in unwanted characters to appear in the beginning of the photo gallery. Text editor like BablePad will allow you to uncheck BOM while saving the file. If your language does not contain special characters, you can use Notepad to save the custom.php file in ANSI encoding.
  • If your language includes special characters, you must include the following meta tag in the head section of the page where you include mainpage.php

  • Upload the custom.php on your server to correct location, under photogallery/langauge
  • Login to the Admin Panel.
  • Click the Layout Tab.
  • Under Display, select Custom from the Language dropdown.
  • Click Save.
