Thank you for the kind words. Please feel free to translate. Once done, please zip all files and email the files you translate to us and also let us know what text you would like translated in the encoded files and we will translate the encoded files for you, create a new language package, and post it on our site in the download section.

Thank you for your answer. I'm very glad, that will be so beautiful gallery in my native language - czech language. I have translated over 80% for now and I need consult about several things with you.

First is prefix tables of gallery in MySQL database for better handlist of all tables in database. With same prefix will be gallerie's tables together and unmixed with others. Please could you do so?

Second is charset of these tables. You set it to latin1 and I need utf8. My pages has encoding unicode utf-8 and if I set name of new categore e.g. Různé I can see R□zn□ in my page where is <? include('photogallery/mainpage.php'); ?>. I think it causes charset latin1 of tables.

I also need set charset=utf8 for galleri'es pages of administration and installation. When I displayed source code in my browser I saw that no charset is in header. Browser set charset Windows-1250 itself and czech is displayed incorrectly.

Could you email me please (dandys(a)centrum.cz) text encoded files index.php, install php and license.php which could be translated? In source code I cannot see what is their text and what is text included from other pages if is such. Also I don't know if mainpage.php contents any text for translation. It would be very usefull and make easy translation for me.

Thank you once again for your interest.

Translating finished. :)
As you wish I zipped all files and you can download it from this link:
Phonora_v1.2_cz_utf8.zip

Package contains renamed encoded files index_browser_source.php, install_browser_source.php and license_page_source.php. These files I've translated what I could display in browser.

I'll look forward to your Phonora Photo Gallery in czech.
Thank you and have a nice day!

The upcoming release of version 1.4 will have language translation support. All you will have to do is edit one file to translate the entire gallery. Following is the step by step instruction to translate the gallery in desired language.

* Edit photogallery/langauge/custom.php file and translate it to desired language.
* Upload the custom.php on your server to correct location, under photogallery/langauge
* Login to the Admin Panel.
* Click the Layout Tab.
* Under Display, select Custom from the Language dropdown.
* Click Save.

The release date for version 1.4 is March 14, 2010.

If your language includes special characters, you must save custom.php file in UTF-8 encoding and uncheck BOM (Byte Order Mark) while saving your file. Failure to uncheck BOM will result in unwanted characters to appear in the beginning of the photo gallery. Text editor like BablePad will allow you to uncheck BOM while saving the file. If your language does not contain special characters, you can use Notepad to save the custom.php file in ANSI encoding.

If your language includes special characters, you must include the following meta tag in the head section of the page where you include mainpage.php

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
